The purpose of the Office of Recruitment and Retention is to promote education as a profession, recruit highly qualified individuals to the teaching profession with emphasis on shortage areas, provide Arkansas public schools with strategies, resources, techniques and equipment to recruit highly-qualified teachers into the classroom and provide tools to retain teachers.
